The practice of Medicine, based on prevention, diagnosis, therapy and disease prognostic, demands, more and more, the use of scientifical methods and research, storage, processing, analysing, transmission technologies, data evaluation and biomedical knowledge. 

    Introduction to Medicine I and II are very important subjects to our condition as future doctors. In fact, we are able to contact with those methods and technologies, believing that it will bring a major facility to learn, investigate, evaluate, share and decide, wich are indispensable points to the improvement of Medicine. 

About us

    This paper was done in the framework of Introduction to Medicine. This subject belongs to the first year of the course of Medicine of the Faculty of Medicine of the Oporto University.
